Event Purpose

The FutureTech Speed Networking Event is designed to help emerging professionals strengthen interpersonal skills like communication, adaptability, and confidence that employers value across every industry. Through fast-paced mock interviews and real-time feedback, students connect directly with professionals representing a range of career pathways.

When you register , you'll automatically be entered into a raffle for chance to win fun prizes!

This event will run across three identical 60-minute blocks. Students will register for one block only and move through a three-part experience:

Block 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Block 2: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Block 3: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Room 118 – Check-In & Warm-Up (First 10–15 Minutes)

• Registration and name tag pickup
• Overview of the rotation schedule
• Résumé and elevator pitch support from job developers and main campus career coaches
• Orientation to the group format and expectations

Room 120 – Employer Rotations (Middle 30 Minutes)

• Small-group mock interviews at 6–8 employer tables
• Employers ask one question at a time
• Each student answers individually and receives feedback
• Students rotate tables; employers remain stationary
• Optional evaluation forms provided for student notes and takeaways

Room 120 – Employer Feedback Panel (Final 10–15 Minutes)

• Employers provide overall impressions and interview advice
• Highlight student strengths and share résumé tips
• Group Q&A with students
• Students may return to Room 118 for additional career coaching
