What items do I need to bring for the 2025-2026 FAFSA?
- FSA ID for you and a parent (if you are a dependent student). Create your FSA ID now if you haven't already.
- Social Security Number for you and a parent* (if you are a dependent student).
- 2023 W-2 forms or other records of money earned for you and your parent (if you are a dependent student).
- 2023 Federal Income Tax Return for you and your parent (if you are a dependent student)
- 2023 untaxed income records - Social Security, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, welfare, or veterans benefits records if any, for you and your parent (if you are a dependent student).
- Current bank account balances for you and your parent (if you are a dependent student).
- Current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stocks, bonds, and other investments records
- Permanent resident card (if you are not a U.S. Citizen).
*If your parent does not have an SSN, they can still fill out the FAFSA form.
Can my parents come with me if they still need to fill out their portion?
Yes, we are more than happy to help your parents fill out their portion as well!
Do I need to bring a laptop?
You will not need to bring a laptop, we will be hosting the workshop in one of GRCC's computer labs.
