The GRCC Study Away Program is your chance to experience learning beyond the classroom and expand your world. To participate in Study Away, you must be a current GRCC student enrolled in a Study Away course.

As a Study Away student, you’ll travel with GRCC faculty and classmates to destinations that bring your courses to life, gain global perspectives and real-world experiences that stand out on transfer and scholarship applications, and build lifelong connections while exploring new cultures, communities, and ideas.

Getting started is simple—join a quick Study Away Information Session to see how Study Away can shape your GRCC experience.

Do I have to attend an Information Session to apply for Study Away?: Yes. Attendance at a Study Away Information Session is required before you can submit an application. The session helps you understand the programs, costs, eligibility requirements, and travel preparation process.
Are the sessions in person or virtual?: All Study Away Information Sessions are held virtually via Zoom for your convenience.
How long is the session?: Sessions typically last about 30 minutes, including time for questions at the end.
Do I need to have my camera on?: Yes. Please plan to log in with your video on and join from a quiet, distraction-free area so you can fully participate.
What will I learn during the session?: You’ll learn about upcoming Study Away destinations, program costs and scholarships, application steps, eligibility requirements, and important travel deadlines.
